How does a Marrakech hot air balloon flight work?

A Marrakech hot air balloon flight starts before dawn.

Your driver collects you from your hotel or riad and takes you to the launch site in the countryside outside the city.

A light breakfast is served while the crew lays out the envelope, inflates it with cold air and heats it with the burners.

The pilot then gives a safety briefing before you board the basket.

Take-off is gentle: there are no jolts and no feeling of speed, because the balloon moves with the wind.
